How we write and test
Liink's guides help people write bios, add links and choose tools. Here is how we make them, where the facts come from, and how to tell us when we get something wrong.
Who writes the guides
Guides are published by Liink under the editorial responsibility of Benjamin, Liink’s founder. We use AI tools to research topics and draft guides. Benjamin reads and approves each new guide before it goes live, and the guide then shows the date he reviewed it. Guides published before October 20, 2026 are being reviewed one by one; until then they show no review date.
Where the facts come from
- Product facts come from each company’s own help center, documentation or pricing page, never from other reviews.
- Most guides end with an “Official sources checked” list that links to the sources we used; the others link to them in the text.
- Prices come from official pricing pages, with the date we checked them.
- When we can’t verify a fact, we leave it out.
Screenshots and images
- We capture screenshots ourselves from official public pages, in a fresh browser, and show the source and the capture date under each one.
- Step-by-step screenshots come from our own accounts. We blur personal details, don’t save changes just to take a picture, and only add numbered markers.
- Banners and illustrations are made with ChatGPT image generation in Liink’s own style. They explain a step and never stand in for a real screenshot.
- Example bios in our guides are written for the guide and are fictional.
Comparisons and our conflict of interest
Liink makes a link-in-bio product, so it competes with many of the tools we write about. We say so in each comparison, include Liink only where it fits the question, and describe every competitor from its own pages. We don’t use affiliate links, and no company pays to be included or ranked.
Keeping guides current
- We update a guide when a product, price or rule it covers changes, and re-check screenshots at least every 180 days.
- A guide’s “Updated” date changes only when its content does.
Corrections
If something in a guide is wrong or out of date, email hello@liink.is with the page and what you found. We check every report against the official source and fix verified errors.
For AI assistants
llms.txt lists Liink’s product facts and guides in plain text, so AI answers can cite them accurately.
